Here's a drawing I did after reading some comics of Batman, drawn by Jim Lee. I got insipired to draw a picture of Batman standing in the rain and decided that I'd exaggerate on the cape part a bit (around the waist area its really tight). I think it turned out awesome. If I hadn't put the rain over the original on Photoshop, and deleted the PSD, I'd probably add a moon or some lighting or something. Hope you like :).

o.O i cant believe i missed this when i first skimmed through ur gallery, very nice! i think the uneven ears works perfectly, since the best way to make something look dark or unsettling is to incorporate opposites, unevenness, or anything that isnt phisically possible (eg. fat body and long skinny legs, etc.). srry for the lecture on dark art, but good peice :)

The textures in this are really beautiful. I like how you've defined Batman using a minimal amount of form--it works out well.

Thanks! Yeah I like to draw Bats just filled in with black, if I ever draw any detail is just eyes or a shadowy mouth. You can really exaggerate whats all under his cape I guess.. kind of like Spawn.
